Careers Home is where you find all the jobs that have been posted by the various business services. Once the jobs have been posted through careers it is viewable by the public. Members are able to view the full job and decide whether or not they would like to apply by first clicking on the "view" button, and then once the full job details are displayed individuals are able to click the "apply" button. If you view a job that you have already applied to, the system will give you a prompt that says "Already applied!!!” When Careers Home display is viewed from PerfectOpps home page, individuals are able to view the job headers, however if you are not a registered member you will need to register to view the full details and apply for a job. If you are a member and are not logged in, then you are required to login to view the job details
Post Your Job Here
Post Your Job Here is only available to a registered company and not individuals. Companies are able to create jobs for publishing to the public. When creating a job you are able to create a description of the job where you state the title of the job, the period for which you are offering the job, the type of job, a summary of the job and the industry in which the job falls. You are then able to state the qualifications required for the job, the rolls and responsibilities of the job, the benefits of the job, to whom the individual will report, any special instructions for the applicant and the closing date of the Job. Once the company has saved the job, it will move to the section My Jobs Posted. The description of the job and the closing date cannot be deleted individually, however they can be edited whilst creating the job or in My Jobs Posted. All other sections can be deleted, add more records and or edited.
My Jobs Posted
My Jobs Posted is the section only viewed by businesses / companies. Once you have completed the Post Your Job Here section, the next view is My Jobs posted. From this view you are allowed to publish the job to the public, edit any section, or delete a job that has been posted. The company is also able to UN-publish a job that has been posted. The options are all available from the button click. To add qualifications, responsibilities or benefits to a job that has been posted, a company is allowed to click on the sub-headers to add to these records.
My Job Application
My Job Application allows all users to view their jobs. Companies are able to view the jobs they have posted and the applicants who have selected their jobs. Individuals are able to view the jobs to which they applied and see how many other persons applied. Companies are able to view the profiles and resumes of individuals who applied. From this applicant view companies are able to shortlists the individuals they would like to contact for the jobs.
My Shortlists is viewable by companies who are able to see the individuals they have shortlisted and the jobs for which the individuals were shortlisted. My Shortlists allows companies to schedule interviews with the individuals and to view individuals resume`. Additionally companies can view individual’s profiles, where they can befriend individuals and add them to groups and invite them to events.
Search all jobs posted of the careers module for jobs that have been posted.
